I have two toddlers and have finally just begun to outgrow the bottle stage.  My first daughter was fussy with what bottle she would take.  We finally got her to accept the Playtex Premium Drop In Bottles.  I LOVE these!  My favourite nipple quickly became the “variable speed” nipple.  It did not leak no matter which way the bottle was turned, but was easy enough for little one to get the milk out.  My second child also loved these bottles and had no trouble with gassiness either.

Pros:
-No BPA in nipple or bottle liners (the only parts that come in contact with milk/formula)
-Easy to clean (no intricate little pieces)
-Easy to put together
-No sterilization needed- Great to travel with
-Lots of different nipples to choose from (silicone vs. latex, many different speeds)
-Liner could be accessed from the bottom to push out any excess air and then collapsed as baby drank- making baby less fussy and gassy
-Relatively inexpensive start up cost (Starter kit is about $20- includes 2 X 4oz bottle. 2 X 8ox bottle, pumping attachments (to pump right into drop in liners), a few liners and a great instruction manual)

Cons:
-you have to buy liners (Approximate cost for Playtex liners is $5.00 for 50 liners, you can get no name liners cheaper but I find they don’t collapse as nice)

Highly recommend  for mother to give it a try.
